Capitol construction progress photographs, [ca. 1869-1900].

The two volumes of approximately 75 photo prints show excavation and early construction progress on the present State Capitol. The photo prints are mounted on cardboard. The 35 photographs chiefly depict excavation and early construction on the present State Capitol. Most of the photographs are duplicates of images found in the volumes, but some later photographs show partially completed first and second floor levels.

The Onondaga Indian Reservation, was first established by treaty between the Onondaga Indians and the State of New York in 1788.
